New Features

  • Track Changes - Changes made to the document can now be tracked for later review. Only available with the EditLive! Productivity Pack.
  • Thesaurus - A thesaurus dialog is now available along with a quick access synonyms menu. Only available with the EditLive! Productivity Pack.
  • Content Preservation - Content in the editor is preserved when using the forward and back buttons in the browser.
  • Context Sensitive Styles - The list of styles available updates based on the current content to make it easier for user’s to work with large style sheets.
  • CSS - Improved the styles functionality to allow users to apply styles to block elements such as table cells, rows, list items etc.
  • Clear Formatting - Clear formatting is now available from the top of the styles drop down.
  • AutoFit Tables - tables columns can be automatically resized to best fit their content.
  • Table Usability - pressing tab in the last cell of a table now automatically adds a new row.
  • Block Tags - editing documents with block tags like DIV and FORM is now easier and more intuitive. Particularly when deleting before and after block tags.

Fixes

  • Fixed problem where non-breaking spaces were inserted in place of a space when not required.
  • Problem where EditLive! may fail to create load in a non-priveliged account if it has previously been run by an Administrator.
  • Problem where formatting may be lost when merging cell.
  • Problem where inserting form elements using non-english locales may insert corrupt submit and reset button labels.
  • Problem with caret positioning when indenting in lists.
  • Image uploading now correctly supports HTTP Redirects.
  • Problem where styles were incorrectly applied in lower case.
  • Problem where cut and copy was enabled in code view when there was no selection.
  • Problem with caret rendering when typing immediately after a form element.
